In our Arab countries, the olive harvest season is a beautiful social occasion where families and neighbors cooperate to help each other pick olives, spending enjoyable times filled with love and generosity.
WHC organized a cooperative activity for children in coordination with the owner of an olive grove near the Center. The owner welcomed the children participating in the olive harvest. They had a wonderful time with the staff, who were keen on ensuring their safety with careful supervision.
Children’s participation in these activities reinforces the concepts and values they learn in the classroom, which they apply practically in their daily lives. This boosts their self-confidence and helps them interact with others without fear or shyness.
